Bookish Travels : Memories from September 2016
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
-Robert Frost: “The Road Not Taken”
Our trip to New Hampshire would have been incomplete without a visit to The Frost Place in Franconia. The poet lived here with his family until 1920. Presently a museum (since 1976), it also hosts a residency program for emerging American poets allowing them to live and write in the house during summer months.
